Congratulations to the 2020 City of Yelm Police Department Officer of the Year, Officer Sparkuhl!
In 2020 Anthony was our most productive officer and was responsible for being involved in more calls for service than any other officer in the department. Anthony serves as an excellent example of what a Yelm Police Officer represents and he continuously serves the citizens of Yelm in a professional, courteous and friendly manner. In July 2021, Officer Sparkuhl will be referred to as Detective Sparkuhl as he will become the next detective for the department. Anthony's preparation and current work ethic are two main factors why he was selected and earned this promotion. We are honored to have Officer Sparkuhl as a part of our law enforcement family and thankful he chose our city to serve as an officer.
