City of Yelm Seeks Art for Centennial Mural

The City of Yelm (“City”) is soliciting proposals in connection with two Centennial murals to be painted on Yelm City Hall. The City is requesting Proposals for the purpose of selecting qualified artist(s) to complete this project.

The Centennial celebration is not merely a reflection on the past; it’s a promise of resilience and progress. It’s an opportunity for us to look back with pride, live in the present with gratitude, and move forward with unwavering determination. This celebration is not just about the last hundred years; it’s a testament to the unwritten chapters that will define the soul of our city for centuries to come.

One of the earmarked projects to celebrate our city is a pair of murals on City Hall. Location 1 is 30’ x 8.5’ and can be accessed any time. Location 2 is 30’ x 6’ and is a second story location that can be accessed during normal business hours and will require safety elements.

We are looking for projects that highlight our history.
