Yelm Splash Pad
The splash pad operates daily from 11 am to 7 pm from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
The splash pad, located in Yelm City Park is one of the most popular family attractions in the community with multiple water fountains and jets, rings, and other features for children to cool off in the summer heat. Picnic tables surround the park, making for a great spot to land your picnic basket while the kids play.
The recent improvements have made the Yelm City Park a destination in the heart of the community, offering something for everyone to enjoy. Kids can enjoy the splash pad and playground, teens at the skate park, while parents can shop at the local Farmer’s Market.
The splash pad was mostly funded through the Community Development Block Grant, while the play area equipment was funded through a grant offered by the Washington Department of Commerce.
