The Yelm Community Center includes a large event room that can be partitioned into two meeting rooms; a commercial kitchen; a lobby, and an outdoor terrace. The event room features vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors, and garage doors opening onto 2nd Street and the terrace overlooking Yelm City Park.
With plenty of paved parking and the park setting, it's an ideal location for banquets, weddings, receptions, conferences, and other gatherings—large or small. We offer audiovisual equipment including projectors, projection screens, microphones, and wireless internet.
Our banquet supplies include stacking chairs, 60" round tables, 6' rectangular tables and bistro tables. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils containing plates, cups, saucers, silverware, glasses, water pitchers, and coffee carafes.

Events sponsored by the City and City programs and functions are exempt from all fees and charges.
The fee for room rentals by groups renting the facility for commercial purposes unrelated to a community service project or local non-profit organization is 200% of the full rate.
